Q. Does O-Week cost anything to attend?

A. O-Week is completely free, so any new UTM student may attend!

 

 

Q. How do I get to O-Week?

A. O-Week takes place in a variety of spots on campus. There will be ‘Ask Me’ tables staffed with upper-year student mentors between 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. in the Davis Building and Instructional Centre (IB) on days with O-Week programming.

Once you complete your registration, ensure that you are checking your emails for up-to-date information about O-Week!

 

 

Q. Do I have to attend every single event during O-Week?

A. You are not required to attend every event during O-Week, you can choose whatever event resonates with you and/or would assist you in beginning your UTM journey on the right foot! Read more about each individual event here.

 

 

Q. Are all O-Week events accessible?

A. Yes, O-Week considers all levels of abilities in our programming. If you require specific accommodations or have questions in regards to the accessibility of an event, please contact orientation.utm@utoronto.ca.

 

 

Q. When/how do I get my TCard?

A. You can get your TCard starting June 1, 2019. Be sure to pick yours up from the I & ITS Services Desk located in the CCIT Building. You will need this card to access most O-Week events.

 

 

Q. What should I bring with me during the week?

A. Depending on which events you are attending you may want to bring a notebook, writing utensil, comfortable shoes, a water bottle, and lunch/snacks.

Q. How do I get CCR for attending O-Week?

A. Attend at least 4 CCR approved events or the first day of O-Week at minimum to receive your CCR!

Q. If there are multiple events occurring at the same time for different orientations, how do I choose which event to go to? 

A. Consider the events that intrigue you most, or other orientation events that you may have paid for. We have tried our best to coordinate with both the Residence and Frosh orientations to maximize your experience!
